My work is concerned with capturing reflections and observations from the environment using mark making through walking, meditating and drawing. With an interest in different ways of looking and how drawing operates as a different mode of seeing, I spends prolonged time walking and exploring nature, creating work that contains traditional observational skills alongside more contemporary mark making. I am interested in exploring the display of artwork externally, within the landscapes that inspire them, moving beyond the walls of indoor sites, shaped by the natural elements and occupying transient space.


I am interested in connecting nature and people through creativity,  working on community projects, commissions, environmental issues, mental health groups and as a teacher - for more information on this part of my output visit:
